Foire de Chatou is an iconic antique flea market that happens twice a year since 1970! It is located in Chatou a small town just 45 minutes drive by car or train from Paris, in September and in March. The whether was not at all nice for a brocante, but we didn’t let it stop us, no no! It turned out to be totally worth it, and even the sun decided to stop by.
The booths are very impressively set up like real tiny shops, and it feels like going around between rooms inside a doll house. Each booth has it’s specific specialty item focus, like dishes, cloths, furniture, art works and more. The prices vary, but for the most part reasonable. There’s also a food & drink area to have a little break and recharge, with a nice selection of typical French food.
