Bois de Vincennes
Located in the east of Paris, on the edge of the 12th arrondissement, this park is the perfect escape from the city. It is the second largest park in Paris and it feels endless. You can really get lost in it. I have! The transportation is not the most accessible but it so worth the trip. There’s a beautiful lake there called Lac Daumesnil surrounded with swans, ducks, and even peacocks! Open 24/7 in most of the areas.
Bois de Boulogne
Located on the west side of Paris, in the beautiful 16th Arrodissement, this is the largest park in Paris. This one is relatively close to the Eiffel tower so you can combine the two in one day. Other then being an extremely beautiful and big park, the greatest advantage is that it has plenty of activities such row boats, horse riding, several lakes and ponds, a waterfall, a restaurant and more. Definitely ideal for family gathering and picnics.
Park des Buttes Chaumont
This unique park is the perfect place to spend a lazy Sunday afternoon after brunch. Located in the 19th Arrodissement in the north-east of Paris, this is the fifth largest park in Paris. It has so many unique features and a very interesting design like no other park in Paris. It’s signatures feature is it’s steep hill that leads to a beautiful view point overlooking Paris. It’s biggest advantage is that it’s very easy to reach by metro and it has plenty of cafes near by.
