During Paris Fashion Week is when the city really comes to life! Suddenly interesting characters emerge all around the city, more bold colors and unusual textures and you can really feel the magic in the air. PAUL & JOE’s presentation was a truly magical event, Alice in Wonderland would have felt right at home.
A long table of flower bouquets, deserts and sandwiches was the focal point of the space, gathering everyone around it, from the founder of the brand, Sophie Mechaly and her beautiful family to the models and influencers invited, like pop singer Petite Meller, the brands beloved muse. The atmosphere was very cozy and welcoming. You could really feel that behind the brand beats a big heart.
It was a feast of colors and beauty not only for the mouth but also for the eyes, what we call here on the blog – a true visual breakfast indeed! The cloths stayed true to the Paul & Joe aesthetic, a mix of eclectic florals, stripes and checkered prints, as well as hand drawing prints. Sequin, feathers and shiny fabrics gave a kick of glam with a Great Gatsby twist. The iconic 60’s and 70’s vibe is the essence of the brand and we really can’t get enough of it. Paul & Joe do it just right and bring the iconic into the present day and we adore it.
